Second Saturday always rolls around so quickly these days. Just yesterday, it feels, I asked for just a simple blog again…it was granted in April and here it is August…Of course, I know how that happens, but still…

My intention, yet again this month, was to start posting and have a newsletter ready to send out heralding August Second Saturday. In case you don’t know, Second Saturday at Sawyer Yards sees many studios open for the public to come and commune among that artists and their art. Open studios from 12-5 and so much variety.

In addition, today is the opening of the Back on Track exhibition in the Winter Street building (where knittingbuddha studio can be found in A120) which features art from the many building tenants. There will be an opening reception from 5-7.

I have about 40 new skeins of handspun yarn that I am tagging to hang as well as some newly finished knit items. There is spinning happening on the wheel, and weaving on the loom. I will be posting a bit more regularly and first up is a project that has gone from writing prompts, to spinning to knitting in the Entrelac fashion.
